10/08 3 eme semaine/ 3rd week

Et ben voila, c'est la saison. Je me suis retrouve deux jours coince a Jackson hole, Wyoming a cause de la meteo. Peu de visi, beaucoup de neige, et meme un jet ne peux pas forcement decoller avec ces hautes montagnes autour! Enfin y'a pire comme endroit pour passer plusieurs jours la, comme me rappelle mon chef pilote.

Au fond de la vallee, voila la ville de Jackson Hole, ou habite Harrison Ford. Enfin, il est dans un ranch pas tres loin...
C'est surtout connu pour etre dans deux parc prestigieux des Etats-Unis, les plus vieux aussi, le parc des Grands Tetons ( nomme par un Francais pendant longtemps seul en voyage dirait-on) et le parc de Yellowstone, deux superbes endroits. En cette saison ca pullule de Cerfs, Bisons, et Elans!

Pendant ce temps, Florence se fait embrasse dans un restaurant. Elle le merite bien, mignone comme elle est! Malgre tous les efforts a fournir pour s'occuper d'un etre humain de cet age, le moins que l'on puisse lui donner et beaucoup d'amour!

I am of the impression that my daughter is gorgeous. A cross between Angelina Jolie and Catherine Deneuve. Yeah, I'm gloating, but so what. It's my prerogative. Sue me.

We had a good week this week. Florence and her Dad had an excellent time enjoying each other's company. She is happiest when we are both around, all playing together.

Anyway, on the heals of my Mom's death we have learned that my little niece has also been diagnosed with cancer. Lymphoma. It's cancer which originates in the lymphatic system. It apparently was born of her organ transplant.

And in the midst of all this ballyhoo we just try to enjoy each other's company and make home and life the best it can be for baby.

Next, time to take her flying again, both in a single engine and also for a glider ride with Dada. I am hoping to foster a great love of flying which, if not to develop into a career, will at least develop into a lifelong personal passion with can enable so many adventures.
